VP HELP CREATE THE WORLD’S LARGEST COLLECTION OF 3D DIGITIZED MEDICAL SPECIMENS

Bringing rare human anatomy to life, Virtual Planit are heavily involved in presenting otherwise inaccessible medical collections to the desktops of experts and students worldwide. Following extensive trials over the past 18 months the product was recently launched at The Barbican in London, and at the new AVIVA Stadium in Dublin.

The breakthrough with our unique methodology has seen the launch of fully interactive and annotated objects online, immersive iPhone and iPad applications, as well as stereo 3D projection – demonstrated on a 3m wide screen, and controlled with an X-Box controller!

Also available is a haptics colouring workstation which took the eye of Matt Zitzmann from Google, who expressed an interest in helping to develop online desktop solutions.

Enquiries also came from international photo libraries who want to market these products to some of the largest educational investment organisations in the world. As a result of these enquiries MEL has already negotiated favourable royalty terms for Europe, the USA, ASIA and South America.
