Following a rather terse letter to our client regarding the application for this development, on a sensitive site, we were commissioned to get a revised application with a thorough methodology through to Liverpool City Council. In the short time that we had, we surveyed, photographed, collected gps data, and modeled the development into our city wide Liverpool model.
The montage production was dictated by the Development Control Department at LCC, and we consulted closely with the city planners to ensure that the application was received positively. After two years of debate and design, and just a few weeks of our assistance the application finally succeeded.
As with many proposed developments this one has yet to see the light of day, but the visuals give you a good idea of how Liverpool’s future skyline is developing.
The architects are Glenn Howells. The landscape and public realm is designed by Planit.
This image shows how the development relates to other proposed sites in the immediate area at that time, the arena is now of course built and in use.
